ISDEV is now having a journal called Journal of Islamic Development Politics (JISDEV). It is a bi-annual journal, co-published in Indonesia with Centre for Islamic Political Development (CISDEV) of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) and Graduate Programme of Universitas Medan Area (UMA), in English and Indonesian languages.
The journal was launched by ISDEV Director Professsor Muhammad Syukri Salleh, who is also the Chairman of the journal's Board of Advisors, on 15 March 2011 during the International Workshop on Islamic-Based Development (WAPI) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU), Indonesia.

The first issue of the journal was out in January this year, containing 4 articles in Indonesian language and 2 articles in English. The Editor-in-Chiefs are Dr Fadzila Azni Ahmad of ISDEV and Heri Kusmanto of UMA, while its Executive Editor is Warjio of USU.
