Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Do not give up prayer at night, for the Apostle of Allah (salallahu 'alaihi wassalam) would not leave it. Whenever he fell ill or lethargic, he would offer it sitting [Hadith from Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book No. 5: Kitab al-Salat, Hadith No. 1302].
