During the first day of Eid Mubarak on 1 October 2008, after Eid prayer at Universiti Sains Malaysia's mosque, foreign ISDEV members and friends gathered at ISDEV Director Professor Muhammad Syukri Salleh's house to celebrate the Eid together. They were ISDEV Post-Doctoral Fellows from Pakistan, ISDEV Research Officer from Libya, and graduate students and ISDEV friends from Indonesia and Japan. They were accompanied by their wives and children.
