One the many interesting aspects of this seminar is, the session discussed about how to make a research more strategic and more efficient which indirectly could lead to a positive advantage in spreading Islam whether in terms of research writing or publication. This seminar is very much applicable to new lecturers or future lecturers as it exposes them to explore five core requirements that need to be achieved which are research, publishing, consulting, commercialization and business. In addition, this seminar provided descriptions and examples which are realistic to the new lecturers and at the same time it provided an opportune platform for the participants in the seminar to expand their networking base and discuss on possible research cooperation. The participants consisted of lecturers and PhD students from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).
