Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There
is no believing servant but that he has a sin he habitually commits
from time to time, or a sin abiding over him that he does not abandon
until he departs the world. Verily, the believer was created to be

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا
مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَلَهُ ذَنْبٌ يَعْتادُهُ الْفَيْنَةَ بَعْدَ
الْفَيْنَةِ أَوْ ذَنْبٌ هُوَ مُقِيمٌ عَلَيْهِ لَا يُفَارِقُهُ حَتَّى ي يُفَارِقَ الدنيا إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ خُلِقَ مُفْتَنًا تَوَّابًا نَسِيًّا إِذَا ذُكِّرَ ذَكَرَ
