Fadala ibn Ubaid reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are three persons you will not be asked about: a man who separates from the community and disobeys his leader and dies in a state of disobedience, a servant who abandons his master and then dies, and a woman with sufficient provision who displays her beauty when her husband is absent. There are three others you will not be asked about: a man who competes with Allah regarding His cloak for His cloak is pride and His garment is might, a man who doubts the command of Allah, and those who despair of the mercy of Allah.” [Source: Musnad Ahmad 23425; Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to As-Suyuti].
