A NAS A WEEK - 25 SAFAR 1432H

Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere [al-Baqarah, 2: 155].

Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet salallahu'alaihi wassalam said, "Straighten your rows as the straightening of rows is essential for a perfect and correct prayer. " [Hadith from Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 11, Hadith No. 690].

O you who believe! be careful of (your duty to) Allah and seek means of nearness to Him and strive hard in His way that you may be successfuL [al-Maa'idah, 5: 35].

Narrated By AbuSalih Zakwan as-Samman : A man from Aslam tribe said: I was sitting with the Apostle of Allah (salallahu 'alaihi wassalam). A man from among his Companions came and said: Apostle of Allah! I have been stung last night, and I could not sleep till morning. He asked: What was that? He replied: A scorpion. He said: O...h, had you said in the evening: "I take refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created," nothing would have harmed you, Allah willing [Hadith from Sunan Abu Dawud, Book No. 22: Medicine (Kitab al-Tibb), Hadith No. 3889].

A NAS A WEEK - 28 MUHARRAM 1432H

Whoever brings a good deed, he shall have ten like it, and whoever brings an evil deed, he shall be recompensed only with the like of it, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly [al-An'aam, 6:160].
